2022 Citywide Traffic Calming

Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2022 Citywide Traffic Calming will be received by City of Monroe, at the City Hall located at 215 North Broad Street, Monroe, GA 30655, until 2:00 PM local time on March 1st, 2022 , at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing 21 speed tables at various locations along Barrett Street, Felker Street, South Madison Avenue, and West Highland Avenue, and curb extensions at along an approximately 0.2 mile stretch of N Midland Street in the City of Monroe.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents also may be examined online at Dodge Data & Analytics, www.construction.com/projectcenter, and Construct Connect, www.constructconnect.com; and the City of Monroe City Hall, 215 North Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on electronic media (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $25.00. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
