Zoning Ordinance, Maps, & GIS

The current Zoning Ordinance was adopted on December 10, 2024. The Zoning Ordinance is a hybrid of a form based code and a Euclidian zoning ordinance. The Form Based Code, called the Character Based Code, was introduced into the Zoning Ordinance with the December 10th adoption after working more than a year with the community, staff, and city council to create a vibrant form based code for the core of the City. The Character Based Code is governed by the rules under Article VII of the Zoning Ordinance, which includes a Character Based Code Regulating Plan. The remainder of the City not designated with character districts follows the traditional Euclidian zoning and the regulations found in the primary Articles of the Zoning Ordinance.
