Project List for Monroe

This page is dedicated to the plans and specifications of ongoing projects currently in progress, or approved for construction with estimated timelines and schedules for the City of Monroe. This page will undergo constant changes as projects update and move through stages of progression towards completion. We hope this provides a level of detail and transparency for our citizens so that everyone is informed of the projects in progress to improve our wonderful City. Marketing

The Marketing division provides different avenues and materials to communicate the activities and correspondence of the City of Monroe with the community and citizens. The current role is embedded within different departments that include Economic Development, Human Resources, and Central Services. The Marketing division includes the issuance of newsletters, social media updates, website updates, and participates in other citywide events.

Childers Park Fire Hydrant Art Project

The City of Monroe Public Works Department has recycled old fire hydrants that are no longer being used into art for the park.  Artist volunteers from the community have helped us paint the hydrants. They are placed in the wooded area around the dog park.
