Hammock Park

Situated on .35 acres in downtown Monroe, Hammock Park has become the place to relax and enjoy one of the numerous hammocks, swings, or picnic tables! This open space saw the addition of multiple hammocks in 2018, picnic tables in 2019, and swings in 2021 for visitors. The Rotary Club of Monroe has been of assistance with funding and sponsoring the different activities at Hammock Park.  

As with all parks, we remind our visitors that this park is a daylight park, and is only open from dawn to dusk!!! We ask that all patrons be respectful of these times and to dispose of trash at the nearby trash receptacles to help keep our park and City both clean and beautiful!
