Community Visioning Meeting

What is your dream for Monroe? The City is developing its Comprehensive Plan, which will be the blueprint for growth and development over the next 20 years. The Plan will describe the community’s vision for the future and outline how to achieve it.  We need your input!  Please join us for the second public engagement meeting of the process on February 21st at 6:00 pm at The Team Up event space located in the Monroe Cotton Mills (601 South Madison Ave).  

Public Lobby Closed at City Hall

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our area recently, the lobby of City Hall will be closed to the public beginning Thursday, December 30, 2021 until further notice.  If you need to make a utility bill payment:

-Paying online at https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/monroega
-Our drive through on Wayne Street will be open during normal business hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.  There is also an after hours drop box in the drive through area.
