Pursuant to the provisions of the Georgia Open Records Act, the Monroe City Council has designated the City Administrator as the Open Records Officer of the City of Monroe.  The City Clerk is designated as the Alternate Open Records Officer.

All requests for information under the Act are to be made in writing to the attention of the Open Records Officer, or in their absence, the Alternate Open Records Officer.

The City of Monroe Transfer Station is open to the general public from 5am until 4pm, Monday through Friday.  Credit/Debit card payments accepted.  Please note that there is a 5% service fee charged by a third party company, Government Window LLC, to cover the cost of this secure and convenient payment service.  Please see our Standard Rules of Operation below.
